Costa Rica
Costa Rica is internationally known as a peaceful country, and is one of the most popular destinations in the Americas. It’s social stability, booming economy, ideal climate, and government incentives have generated a massive influx of tourists and investors enthusiastic about the unique opportunities in real estate and business.
Costa Rica is the only country in Central America without an army. The government abolished the military years ago, choosing to spent the money saved to fund the education of it’s people and modernization of it’s workforce. The result of this extraordinary policy is a 96% literacy rate. Thousands of Costa Ricans speak English, making it a place friendly to North American tourists. Navigating daily life is easy here.
Micro-climates vary greatly across Costa Rica, and all of them are pleasant. The dry season occurs between December and April, and as the name implies, it rains very little. The rest of the year includes rain typically occurring in the afternoon. Perhaps counter-intuitively, the beach areas on the Pacific coast receive little rain.
These are but a handful of reasons why people from around the world are flocking to Costa Rica. If you’ve been here, we’re sure you have your own!
